Your Will is a love Letter!

Planning for tomorrow, writing a will and organising all the elements of our succession brings security to our family in the present and the future. We make it easier for them at a difficult time.

The desire to leave our loved ones as much of the fruits of our lifetime of work as we can is an act of love in my books.

If you are like me, you are not thrilled about thinking of a future where you are not here anymore to enjoy time with your loved ones. I find comfort in the knowledge that the way I planned my succession, ensures they will be OK, even down the generations.

I became an estate planner to help parents feel the same way”.

when should I plan?

Anytime is a good time to write a Will and register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), whether we are parents of minor children, our children reached adult age or we become grandparents. Wills and LPAs are for everyone not just the wealthy. They are here to protect the family.

Depending on where we are on our life journey we need to consider different important questions such as:

  • Guardianship of minor children.

  • Protecting the inheritance of our children if we pass away prematurely.

  • Creating a lasting legacy for the future generations in your family.

  • Pass some of our wealth to charities, friends, and other family members.

  • Protecting our estate against adverse events such as bankruptcy, litigation or means testing during your lifetime and after.

  • Mitigating our inheritance tax so we can pass more of our wealth to our family.

  • And more.

We advise you, write and organise all documentation specific to your situation and wishes:

Wills and trust wills

We write a will specific to your personal and family situation, making sure nothing is amiss, the vocabulary is precise and the document legally binding .

Trust and Estate Planning

Estate planning is not only for the rich. With the right strategies and vehicles you will minimise the inheritance tax bill, protect what you spend a lifetime to build and provide for your family.

Lasting power of Attorney

Should you find yourself incapacitated, you need to count on those you trust the most to make decisions on your behalf, manage your finances and keep the family in good standing.
